Scripture & a Snapshot ... Week 75 | The Knot Prayer

Dear God,

Please untie the knots that are in my mind, my heart, and my life.

Remove the have nots, the cannots, and do nots.

Erase the will nots, may nots, and the might nots that may find a home in my heart.

Release me from the could nots, would nots, should nots that obstruct my life ...

And most of all, Dear God, I ask that you remove from my mind,

from my heart, and from my life,

all of the “am nots” that I have allowed to hold me back.

Especially the thought that tells me I am not good enough.

- Amen -

I found this prayer to have an unknown author ...
but, when I read it today ... it was me.

... could it be you, too?

... and even so, in His Word, we find mercy, grace, and hope ...

Therefore if any person is [ingrafted] in Christ (the Messiah)

he is a new creation (a new creature altogether);

the old [previous moral and spiritual condition] has passed away.

Behold, the fresh and new has come!

- 2 Corinthians 5:17 Amplified -

I've missed a few weeks of this photo challenge, and it's good to be back,
even in the midst of life's challenges surrounding our family.

The encouragement I've found here in the past has been such a blessing
... and I'm in need of some now.

As I walk through these difficult circumstances,
I'm learning to trust wholly in Him, and learning to keep my hands off ...
it's not always easy ... but, it's always better to let go, and let God!!
He knows far better than we can even think or imagine!

Hoping you all have a blessed week!

  1. I like that 'knot' prayer...negativity can keep a person down for a long time. It's always refreshing, no matter how many times I hear it, that I am created new in Christ!

I pray you will feel His guidance and love as you go through these difficult times!
